Project Description

B.V.Sc (hons)

Calum graduated in 1986 from the University of Queensland. After practicing in the Fairfield/Cabramatta area of Sydney for 2 years, he and Joanne joined many of their classmates on a 3 year working holiday in England. Locuming was alternated with jaunts in the compulsory campervan to the then un-unified Europe – the iron curtain still stood, and Yugoslavia was still, at least on a map, one country!

He returned to Brisbane in 1991, where he managed first the Goodna Veterinary Clinic, and then in 1994 the Moorooka Veterinary Clinic. In 2001, he and Joanne bought the Clayfield Veterinary Clinic.

He enjoys the great variety of pets and people that a general vet practice provides. In particular, he enjoys helping our senior pets live longer and happier lives, and also enjoys the challenges of knee surgery in dogs and dentistry.

Outside of work, he is a proud Queenslander who follows all sport played with a ball (of any shape!). He also enjoys cycling, fine red wine, gardening and his possum-obsessed cross bred terrier, Lucy.
