BA BVSc Dip Ed

After a detour training as a high school teacher Cathy graduated in Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney. Skilled in both medicine and surgery. Cathy continues to study to remain up to date with new information and has completed  additional study in soft tissue surgery (including BOAS surgery)  management of orthopaedic cases, cat medicine, animal behaviour, animal nutrition and ophthalmology.

Cathy’s focus has always been on companion animal however she also enjoys pocket pets: mice, rats, ferrets, rabbits  guinea pigs. 

It is also rewarding working  with Australian native animals helping the Native Animal Trust Fund with flying fox rescue, kangaroos and possums with broken legs and what ever else needs care. 

Two adult sons, four cats, one husband along with occasional attempts at exercising and craft keep Cathy busy outside work .
