Sue loves animals and always wanted to be a Vet. She graduated in 1980 and has worked in rural and urban practices.
Sue is committed to continuing education, attending many seminars and courses over the years. In 1999, she studied the post-graduate surgery course, going to Melbourne twice for the weekend workshops. Later, she learnt ultrasound techniques and visited Brisbane for the echocardiography course.
Other interests include tramping, visiting friends and family and reading. Sue is in the volunteer pool of Girl Guide Leaders, having qualified as a Leader when 22. She is a Bushcraft Instructor with Outdoor Trainers NZ and belongs to two tramping clubs.
