Alice grew up here in Newcastle and since graduation in veterinary science from Sydney University she has practiced exclusively with small companion animals. Working at the RSPCA for a number of years gave Alice a wide range of experience in surgery and medicine along with an  interest in animal welfare. Alice is happy to be working here at Vetz where we always make our patients care and comfort a priority.  

Alice also worked in small animal practice in the USA for 18 months which was a great experience both professionally and personally.

Constant additional study means Alice remains up to date and informed about new and emerging information in vet science. She is a skilled surgeon in BOAS procedures. 

Alice and her husband have  “Bailey” the Border Collie. He too has been to America and back.  Bailey is 5 years old and finally out of the puppy stage.
