Originally from North Yorkshire, UK, Amélie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2018. She moved to Australia after university and initially began her career as an equine vet, working in a couple of referral equine hospitals for four years.
Amélie realised her passion for small animal veterinary work and joined the small animal internal medicine team at a nearby referral hospital. She has a keen interest in internal medicine and is currently undertaking further training in this field outside of her work at Willoughby.
Amélie finds life as a veterinarian is endlessly interesting and full of variety. She particularly enjoys building relationships with clients and their lovely pets, working together to deliver the best quality of care and ensuring the best quality of life for their pet.
In her spare time, Amélie is very active and enjoys playing netball, hiking and diving. She is also a keen traveller and has visited 36 countries!
