Annabelle graduated from the University of Sydney in 2000. Since graduation Annabelle has worked in a variety of equine and mixed practice roles in NSW, Victoria and Queensland, including several seasons experience in equine stud and reproductive medicine. In 2003 she undertook an internship in Equine Emergency Medicine and Foal Care at Ohio State University, USA, and in 2005 was examined and received Membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Medicine of Horses. Annabelle enjoys working with most companion and farm animal species, but horse work, especially horse reproduction and medicine of foals and horses, would be the most enjoyable part of her work.

When not at work Annabelle enjoys spending time with her pets Angus, Luki, Benji and Socksie or may be found helping on the family farm and Riding Pony stud.
