Dr Christin studied veterinary medicine in her home country Germany and graduated in 2014 as a doctor of veterinary medicine. She has worked in various fields of veterinary science including bovine medicine, small animal reproduction, pocket pets and wild life. In 2015 she travelled to Ecuador where she worked as a veterinarian in a wild life rescue centre in the amazon rain forest to rescue, treat and liberate exotic animals like monkeys, parrots snakes, wild cats and various other native animals. After doing a working holiday in Australia she made the decision to stay in 2021 and practice as a veterinarian in Queensland. She first worked in Brisbane in a Small animal practice and decided to move up the coast and settle in Noosa in early 2023 and join the team in Noosa District Animal Hospital.
In her free time she enjoys a multitude of hobbies like flying sailplanes and General Aviation aircraft around the Sunshine Coast, Scuba Diving, Sailing, Rock Climbing, Playing guitar, Camping, Hiking and loves pretty much any outdoor adventure.
During her travels she became a Scuba Dive and Emergency First Response Instructor and has improved her language skills to now be speaking fluent English, Spanish and French, and of course German.
