Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Animal science from the University of Melbourne, before continuing further studies and completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from James Cook University.

Daniel was drawn to Southern Animal Health due to the opportunity to work in a team with high standards of animal care, and advanced surgical and medical knowledge under the mentorship of Dr Karin Davids and Dr Marcus Hayes. Daniel enjoys the focus that Southern Animal Health has towards tailoring each pet’s individual needs and their unique circumstances, and believes this is the ideal method to ensure the best outcome for any patient. He has a particular interest in small animal surgery and strives to pursue this pathway in his future.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys keeping himself active with hiking, bouldering, fishing and badminton.
