Guan originally studied and earned an art degree while living in Canada. He then went on to earn his Veterinary qualifications at Massey University. While he intended to continue travelling, he instead settled down in Aotearoa.

Now also a Kiwi, Guan spent several years as a mixed practitioner in the Waikato, before giving up the glory of the cow, for surgerizing puppies and kittens in the Bay of Plenty.

When he’s not working, Guan can be found going on adventure vacations, riding motorcycles, and playing sports.
