Holly grew up in the Macedon Rangers on a small angus farm with various animals (always lots of ponies!). This is where her passion for animal care and the pursuit to become a vet started.

Luckily she loved sciences and went on to complete a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, followed by the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine landing on the Dean’s Honours List in her final year.

She has seen a range of practice through her studies and completed an externship at the University of Copenhagen Equine Hospital. After working for a couple of years in small animal practice and shelter medicine in Melbourne Holly has returned to the best part of Victoria and taken up a position as Veterinary Associate at Gisborne Veterinary Clinic!

Holly loves the diversity and ever-changing nature of mixed practice vet life and enjoys being part of an incredible and supportive team.

When she isn’t in the clinic, Holly loves long distance running and can often be found hitting up the tracks and trails around the Ranges with her Kelpie “Clyde”.
