James graduated from Melbourne University in 2005 and spent 4 years with the RSPCA where he developed a keen interest in Orthopaedic surgery. He subsequently spent several years in various Melbourne clinics before moving to the UK. Whilst working in an inspiring RCVS accredited small animal clinic James developed an interest and honed his skills in ultrasonography. After working 5 years in London James has returned to “the food capital of the world” and joins the team at Box Hill Veterinary Hospital. He is excited to be working in a clinic which makes the welfare of the patients the priority of the clinic.
His brings to the clinic the added expertise in cardiac and abdominal ultrasonography, as well as a new cutting edge knee reconstruction technique which he performs for larger animals with ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
James is currently completing a post graduate certificate in Internal Medicine (UK) which he feels would complement his skills and interest in ultrasonography.
In his spare time James likes to surf, play golf, and enjoy Melbourne for what it is…….the food capital of the world!
