Ever since Dr Jessica was young, she knew she wanted to be a vet. She loved going to her grandparent’s farm on the weekends in country Victoria where she would help feed the cows, chickens, and donkeys!
Her passion grew through the years and she was fortunate enough to own a menagerie of pets growing up. This included dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, ducks, mice and fish.
Dr Jessica completed a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Zoology and Animal Disease Biotechnology at The University of Melbourne in 2014. She then made the big decision to follow her dreams and move to Queensland where she completed the Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours at The University of Queensland, graduating in 2019.
Becoming a veterinarian has allowed her to pursue her aspiration of helping sick and injured animals in need. Dr Jess loves creating bonds with clients and providing the best care for their pets. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, with a particular interest in dermatology, surgery, and preventative health.
In her spare time, Dr Jess can be found baking tasty treats, crafts, going on outdoor adventures and spending time with family.
