Dr Kate Cox is one of our valued, long term team members at Caring Vets. From the time Kate was very young she had a passion for animals. It was in primary school Kate decided she wanted to be a vet. After many years of hard work, Kate graduated from Sydney University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Kate had already been working in vet clinics for 8 years when she started working as a veterinarian. Kate’s first job as a veterinarian was in a mixed animal practice in Orange. This was a busy practice that gave her a great start with a range of different animals from dog and cats through to horses and cattle. In July 2011 Kate joined the amazing team at Caring Vets, and has been happy here ever since. Kate is always busy at the clinic, if she is not in surgery or consults she can be found helping our hospital patients. Kate is still strongly passionate about animals – her main priority is giving her patients the best possible care. Kate has undertaken further training in different aspects of surgery and ultrasound. She looks forwards to expanding her knowledge further in the future. When Kate is not at work she enjoys spending time with her girls, Brianna and Alexis, and her husband, Dan. The family is completed by 2 Cavaliers: Isabella and Elsa. Kate’s family is her other main passion in life.
