Since he was young, Paul was always interested in science and loved animals, so it only seemed fitting to pursue a career in veterinary science. Over the years, he has had many cats, a couple of dogs, and some birds.
Since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2000, Paul gained experience in Adelaide, the United Kingdom for five years, before finally settling down in Melbourne. His extensive experience includes both busy private practice and a high- volume shelter vet clinic. In April 2018, he joined the team here at Pascoe Vale Vet Hospital.
Paul’s goal with every patient is to achieve both short and long term positive outcomes. He endeavours to make your loved one comfortable and happy straight away, and to also manage their long-term health.
In his veterinary career, Paul has strong interests in both medicine, surgery and dentistry, as well as clinical pathology and diagnostic investigation. He enjoys managing animals with long term skin issues, chronic arthritis and geriatric patients. Paul seeks to provide the highest quality services to his patients and completes regular professional development.
In his spare time, Paul loves mountain bike riding, camping and any other outdoor adventure. He also enjoys fixing things around the house, as well as the odd bit of gardening. He lives with his wife and keeps very busy with his two young sons these days.
