Vanessa graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1994, and spent three years in a cattle practice in Wales, before transitioning to a small animal practice in Oxford.

In 2009, she moved to Australia with her family, and has been living and working in Port Macquarie since then.

Her special interests are small animal medicine, especially cardiology.

In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, cycling and spending time with her family and pets, which consist of one dog, three cats and three chickens.
