Dr Yvette Yates was born and raised on a farm in southwest Victoria where she was surrounded by a mix of pets and livestock. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and moved to outback South Australia soon after with her husband Nick. Yvette joined Vets4Pets in November 2018, she has a keen interest in all aspects of general small animal practice including soft tissue surgery, and acknowledging the importance of the owner/pet relationship.

Outside of work Yvette spends her time keeping up with her two young children, maintaining her thriving veggie garden and baking sourdough from her own starter.
