Treat your cat to a purr-fectly delicious snack! These crunchy salmon treats are simple to make and bursting with flavour your cat will love. Let’s get baking!

Ingredients

  • 1 tin of salmon, undrained
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 175°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Pulse the undrained salmon in the food processor until finely chopped.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the salmon, beaten egg and 2 cups of flour to form a dough. If the dough is too dry, add a splash of water. If it’s too wet, mix in a little more flour.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and use a cookie cutter to create biscuit shapes of your choice. Arrange them on a lined baking tray.
  • Bake for 20mins, or until the edges turn slightly brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool on a wire rack before serving them to your cat for a well-deserved taste test!

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
